I used to sit down by the local pond and let my thoughts wonder. I would bring my journal with me and start writing about life in general. Most times these reflections would give way to drawing and sketching. This back and forth journey between letters and shapes was the inspiration for this painting. Writing myself letters and taking notes on nature and the cycles of life.
