There is a moment during harvest when time begins to feel dense. The heat settles into the body, repetition takes over, and everything slows under its own weight. This work emerged from that space where effort, feeling and body converged.Layers were built and softened, pressed and released, echoing the rhythm of long days in the vineyard. Pigment extracted from grape skins harvested on-site was embedded into the surface, allowing the material life of the vineyard to become part of the work itself.
Under The Weight Of Summer was selected by Krinklewood Wineyard as the label for their 2026 SAUVAGE Orange wine.
