CHALLENGE: My word for 2022.
At the beginning of every year, I pick up a word that I shall try to stick by in everything I do. Last year was FUN, and I do believe I lived by it despite all the curve balls I was thrown.
The word I selected for 2022 is CHALLENGE. I hope I haven’t cursed myself with this word as it is an uncomfortable one to deal with but that is the whole point.
Why CHALLENGE? Well, I am not the type that likes to feel too comfortable in my shoes. It is through challenging ourselves that we grow, that we move out of our comfort zones, and that we can achieve huge things. Every time you stretch your emotional, intellectual, and physical muscle groups, discomfort arises just before progress is made. I am aiming big this year, with dreams and goals that I do hope to be able to share with you; but to do that, I will have to push hard and be fearless.
I hope this exploration beyond my comfort zone allows me to produce art that I feel proud of and that you enjoy witnessing.
