Open Studio Days
Moving into my new studio has been linked to excitement and lots of planning and expectations. For a long time, I have been wanting to hold open studio days; but painting from home and in the middle of my living room didn’t look or sound too appealing. Now in a beautiful space to work in, my urge of opening its doors to the public will soon be a dream come true.
I really want ‘Open Days’ to be an enjoyable and enriching experience for everyone. To do so and to support the local community, I will be inviting other creatives to share their gifts during the day. You will not just be able to get more insights into my practice or get exclusive access to artworks and previews, but you will also get to spend some time with other creatives that will bring a lovely touch to the day. Whether it is a little music band, some gourmet treats, some dancing, or poetry reading; there will be plenty to enjoy throughout the year.
Open studios will be held on the third Sunday of every month (unless notified otherwise). Special guests will be announced through my newsletter a week before the open day, so tell your family and friends to subscribe so no one misses out!
The first Open Studio Day will be held on Sunday, March 21st from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The studio is located at Unit 1/18 West Street Brookvale. NSW 2100
For the inaugural session, the amazing band Hey Sugar Music will provide chill Sunday tunes. They are a dream-pop band; an eclectic mix of acoustic guitar, synth sounds, and layered vocals that create a very intimate and unique atmosphere. Follow them on Spotify!
Canapes and drinks will be served.
